Following the release of his 2021 album ‘Glacial Medicine’ – which was celebrated by Bandcamp curators and expanded for a Deluxe reissue with remixes from Daedelus, Mux Mool, and Noer the Boy – Jaws has conjured a darker, grimier listening experience on his forthcoming full-length LP ‘Lullaby League.’ Pulling back the curtain, he has officially released the first single, ‘Big Risks,’ on Detroit label Young Heavy Souls.

As bold as its title suggests, ‘Big Risks’ leads with fuzzy, futuristic synth lines that guide listeners on a dystopian descent into Jaws’ sonic soup. The accomplished producer flexes his IDM chops on this track, grounding the song with undeniable grit while incorporating a plethora of otherworldly sounds. ‘Big Risks’ is perfectly suited for fans of Aphex Twin or Flying Lotus.
